Our Philadelphia lab has many unique capabilities with one of the largest scopes of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditations in our company. Along with its general purpose capabilities, it is one of two of our labs that offers highly accurate Reference Level Temperature from -200°C to 500 °C. In addition, we have a reference Mass Lab with capabilities from 1 mg to 25 kg. It is the only lab in Transcat to provide light calibration with traceability directly with NIST and can calibrate Light Meters up to 32,300 lux. Finally we offer gaseous flow rate calibration up to 1200 SLPM.
Over 25% of our technicians have earned the Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) designation from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). The lab is a new 10,500 square foot facility is located within minutes of Philadelphia, in southern New Jersey. We also have 2 dedicated vans and drivers that provide free pickup and delivery service from Washington D.C. to New York City.
